A sleek and modern oak floor light with a solid steel base, we crafted this ultra-minimalist feature lamp by hand and integrated a low profile LED and built-in dimmer. This lamp is both energy saving and creates a warm white ambient glow that looks great in any home.

Tynd is the Danish word for thin, and this lamp is a slimline evolution of our signature Nordic freestanding lamp. Equally stylish in a living room, bedroom or study; we created this lamp as a homage to natural materials and clean lines of Danish minimalism. This statement lamp would look right at home in a cool urban loft in Copenhagen (or Stockport even, if that’s where you live!).

Made from high grade solid oak, the wood is finished with natural hard wax oil to preserve the lightness of the raw oak. Each light is hand crafted to order and normally takes approximately 2-4 weeks to ship. No one light is the same, and each comes with it's own unique and natural woodgrain.

Standing at 1182mm high with a 150mm square base, and with a total cord length of 1400mm, the lamp is fitted with a USB-A plug, but also comes with a standard UK plug adapter in the box. Simply plug in to a wall socket, or even power the lamp from a laptop or separate battery pack.

With this lamp, we’ve taken a modular approach to the power cord, meaning it can be easily shortened to 400mm to avoid messy cabling, and the dimmer switch can be removed altogether for an even brighter glow. A traction-grip foam pad is fitted to the steel base to protect hard flooring surfaces.
