Nal is the Danish word for needle, and this sleek one-off limited edition floor lamp is our tribute to the streamlined shapes and simple silhouettes of Copenhagen inspired design. Subtle and prepossessing, we crafted this ultra-minimalist feature lamp by hand and integrated a low profile LED and built-in dimmer.

Made from high grade Danish pine, the wood is finished with a blend of natural hard wax and Danish oil (it would be rude not to!) to preserve the lightness of the raw wood. The pine has a unique woodgrain that’s been hand picked for its beautiful pattern.

Standing at 1290mm high with a 127mm square base, and with a total cord length of 1400mm, the lamp is fitted with a USB-A plug, but also comes with a standard UK plug adapter in the box. Simply plug in to a wall socket, or even power the lamp from a laptop or separate battery pack.

With this lamp, we’ve taken a modular approach to the power cord, meaning it can be easily shortened to 400mm to avoid messy cabling, and the dimmer switch can be removed altogether for an even brighter glow. A low profile foam pad is fitted to the steel base to protect hard flooring surfaces.

Power input DC 5V (power adapter converts from AC 220-240V). 600 lumens of warm white light at full power (100-300 lumens when dimmer is active) at 3000-3500K. 6 watt energy consumption.
